Amphitheater of Ancient Petra. Jordan. DJI-0486-01

Petra Theater is a 1st century AD Nabataean theatre. Substantial part of the theater was carved out of solid rock. The theater’s auditorium consists of 3 horizontal sections of seats separated by passageways and seven stairways to ascend. The theater could accommodate approximately a 8500 people.
